We'll dig further into this next hour with Bill Krueger, but the M's got crushed this weekend, losing all three in Boston, and going 2-8 on the ten-game road trip. They had the best start in franchise history at 13-2, and the way they're playing now, they're on the way to having the worst finish in franchise story. Doug Baldwin posted a series of tweets this weekend reflecting on his life as a football player and there's a lot to unpack from these, at least if you choose to go that deep. Some are making a big deal of who wasn't mentioned (Carroll, Schneider, Paul Allen, and Russell Wilson). The NBA has made tit to the conference finals stage of the playoffs. Ian notes that the Warriors and Blazers are more similar than either team would like to admit. On Something Good, the M's aren't doing well on the field, but off the field they done a lot, including providing gear to the Garfield Girls' Softball team who won their first Metro League Championship. The M's also gave Braden Bishop the chance to spend Mother's Day with is mom as he was being optioned back to the Rainiers. Bishop, of course, has started the 4MOM Alzheimer's charity in honor of his mom.
