The Combine has concluded, and later in this show we'll hear from Rob Rang who will recap the whole thing. We're not going to dismiss the whole thing like some media outlets, calling it the "underwear Olympics", etc. Fans clearly care, and teams clearly care. When scouting before the draft, The Combine is an important part of the process. Ian and his son went to an NBA game while in Utah this weekend, and with so much talk about players like LeBron sitting out, skipping games, it made him wonder what the responsibility the players have to the consumer. If you've dropped potentially hundreds of dollars on tickets to see a player that suddenly isn't there, as a fan you're going to be pretty frustrated. This didn't used to happen in the league, and it doesn't happen now in other pro leagues like the NHL. Breaking news, the Seahawks have franchised Frank Clark. We all knew there was no way they'd let him go to free agency. On Something Good, Ian describes a couple of good things that happened on his flights to and from Salt Lake.
