Hi, this is Jacquelyn Stafford. Welcome to 'VOW', that stands for Virtue of Women. Have you ever wondered about the virtue of a woman, or what it really means? Let’s look for a moment and see what virtue really is. It is defined in the dictionary as strength, that substance or quality, chaste, moral excellence, and power. But
the Bible defines virtue in Proverbs 31 as virtuous using the Hebrew word Chayil (khah’-yil). In the Strong’s Concordance Chayil means substance, virtue, wealth, a force, strength, power, and much more.
When you read about the virtuous women in Proverbs Chapter 31 you can see she is a woman full of wisdom, she is invaluable; her price is far above rubies - no quantity of precious stones can equal her worth. It is obvious that she must be graced by God to be defined in this manner.
Do you see yourself that way? To be honest with you, I didn’t. I must confess I did not know the things that I am now willing to share with you. My confession is public but you get to confess yours in private. I would like to take you on a journey. It’s the same journey that I took. As we embark on this journey, we will discover who we are from God's point of view. On this journey, we will embrace the possibilities of gaining the love, the security and the peace that comes from knowing who we are in Christ. On this journey, we will learn how all of this relates to our corresponding actions to the Word of God and our obedience to His truth. On this journey, we will take the divine perspective and discover what our Creator say's about Women.
