What the message that we're trying to convey is that child support has already enforced enough as far as it's guidelines, however some of the rules have crippled both the custodial parent and the non-custodial parent. Putting people in jail, taking there driving priviledges does not help the situation any. So, that's what we're saying as far as reform. When you look at the history of child support it was put into place for men being the providers, but now in 2011 they have electronic ways of tracking you now. So, there's now way to avoid it and people that are trying to work aren't. They just want it to be a fair playing field when it comes to being that paying parent!

Hi Devonn, I appreciate your question on child support reform but my question to you is, reform child support how? Most of your guests cite the "bad economy" as a reason why there should be reform, well what about the custodial parent? Aren't they experiencing stress and distress as a result of the economy as well? And they have children to care for. They don't need to "reform" child support, it needs to be enforced. Thanks for providing an open forum for the community to discuss topics and share opinions!
