Matt Kenseth has 2 Daytona 500 wins in his career and we get a another one this week. NASCAR makes the drivers use restrictor plates which in turn slows down the cars and makes it more even and it should be a close race most of the way. Richard Petty said over the weekend that Danica Patrick could only win a race if she was in it by herself, but he also said he thinks she is good for the sport because of the extra publicity because she is a women. We like Danica because we think she very hot and would like to see her win a race this season. With the Daytona 500 set to kick off in less than two weeks this is a good start to the season. Petty won the Daytona 500 seven times and this race is like the Super Bowl of NASCAR even though it is the first race of the season, wouldn't it be something if Danica could win the Daytona 500. The Babe had 11 seasons where he hit 40 or more home runs, his career batting average was 342 and his slugging percentage was 690. Babe Ruth was a pitcher his first four seasons in the major leagues and was considered one of the best pitchers in the game at the time. Babe Ruth won 94 games as a starting pitcher and had two seasons where he won over 20 games. The Babe helped the Red Sox to win three world series before being sold to the New Yankees in 1920 where he helped the Yankees win 4 world series championships. Babe was also known as the sultan of swat and played some outfield as well as first base. Scott likes the broncos 27-24 in a tight game and thinks the key to the game is whether the Broncos can protect Manning from the very fast Seattle defense. Manning has only been sacked 16 times in the regular season and if Seattle is going to stay in the game they will have to find a way to get Peyton manning uncomfortable, otherwise it will be a long day for the Seahawks. Seattle Seahawks counter with a power running game led by Marshawn Lynch, if Seattle can run the ball early which they should be able to, this may wear the broncos defense down and give the Seahawks a shot at the upset. Florida has been long know mostly for its football program but since 2000 the Gators basketball team has won two championships and have been to the elite eight six times.The leading scorer is Casey Prather and the team has been very good defensively this year with the pressing style of defense that they play. Coach Billy Donovan has done an excellent turning the basketball team into contenders nearly every year. Florida has a 21-3 record in NCAA tournament games since 2006 and this season has some some adversity but the Gators have the look of a team that can make a deep run in tournament this spring.
