Think about it….how many times have you really tried to stop or quit a harmful habit? If you often find yourself trying to change or quit a negative habit but end up right back in it, then this is for you. But the righteousness based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down) “or ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. Write them down on a sheet of paper and then decide on 3 different ways you can by faith according to Gods word START THE PROCESS OF REMOVING THOSE HABITS FOREVER. ***NOTE: The Easiest way for me is to THINK ABOUT A DESIRE I HAVE INTENDED AND PRAYED FOR AND BE GUT-WRENCHINGLY HONEST ABOUT THE NEGATIVE HABITS I TRULY PUT FORTH DAILY THAT I KNOW ARE SABOTAGING MY GOAL !!! Based on what you have learned and been reminded of here…. ARE YOU AWARE OF THE GOD-GIVEN POWER TO THINK, CHOOSE, SPEAK, FEEL & ACT IN FAITH WITHIN YOU when it comes to consciously ’REMOVING HINDERING HABITS’ each day so that He and His love can flow through you in an ‘easier’ way for and towards your greater good? Jot down the intention to ‘let it be so’ in your journal and then ask God for the strength, patience and love put it into conscious loving practice with acceptance. Amen.
