This was a LIVE recording from our church in Wrightwood. Our little group is active, diverse and hungry to hear what God has to say from Luke chapter 3 as we study the baptism or immersion of Jesus.
Even at the age of 12 Jesus amazed the scholars of his time. He was always about his Fathers business in His Fathers house. When he was separated from his parents he asked them, "Why do you seek Me?" So why do you seek Jesus?
Was it really a silent night when Jesus was born? Lets study Luke chapter 2 and put ourselves in the manger scene and the shepherds fields where the Son of God was born.
He has risen! He has risen indeed! And he has risen on the Feast of First Fruits. First what? Come and listen to how Jesus fulfills the great Feast of First Fruits by His Resurrection.
Who do you believe? God or man? The traditions of man can cloud God's word. Come hear how a couple went against the traditions of man and listened to Gods promise.
With God, nothing is impossible. Mary believed this when she accepted God's instructions from Gabriel. In our own relationships with God, do we really believe that He will do what He says that He will do? God's plan had Universal impact for humanity, but do we believe that God really cares about the personal impact it had for each one of us individually?
On these cold nights in winter it feels so good to add another comforter on the bed. Its warm, inviting and peaceful having the extra warmth. So too when we talk about the Lords the return. Come wrap up Philippians as we discuss the Day of Jesus Christ.
Peace is not the absence of conflict, it is not the absence of financial strain, illness or troubles. Peace is the incredible presence of something more in the midst of our difficult circumstances. Peace snuffs out our anxiety and worry. True peace surpasses our understanding and draws us closer to God as we experience it.
