relax.mp3
It's a holiday tradition to give my listeners a gift that they can use all year long.
You don't find this at the mall or online. It's a gift that if practiced regularly
can keep you calmer, more relaxed and with less outbursts. Use the gift of relaxation and you'll feel much better.
Enjoy!!!

Making the Best of What's Around
Today’s show is a combination of 2 of my loves, music and sports. The first “make the best of what’s around” tells us about some very courageous folks who seem to know how to get by and get ahead in spite of major obstacles. The second tale “the daily racing form” is sage advice if you’re looking to get to winner’s circle in the most important race you’ll ever run.

Inconvenient Complainers
Today we have 2 tales. The first is favorite of mine that I have used in my office for many years, entitled "Inconvenient Not Tragic". The 2nd is a prevalent problem that many people have, "The 25 Letter Alphabet". They’re missing one important letter. I hope you figure that one out

Relax
Today on tales from the office, we have a special edition. It’s a holiday gift to my loyal listeners. Now my gift is not one of those traditional holiday food gifts, or seasonal plants, it is something much more significant and useful. This is something that you can use daily and it allows for a calmer, less stressful lifestyle. My gift is relaxation. The progressive relaxation exercise that we are going to do was devised in 1929 by dr. Edmund Jacobson. This consists of tensing various muscle groups and relaxing them
For you the listener, you get the easy job, pay attention to the tensing and relaxing of muscles, breathing and then relaxing. If this exercise works for you, practice it, and make it part of your healthy routine.

Eatin' & Askin'
Today on the show, we have 2 interesting stories. The first, the turkey club, may get you hungry as we describe how to make a sandwich. But this isn’t just any old sandwich, it’s a club sandwich.
The 2nd tale entitled the 2 questions only asks 2 questions, but they are sure good ones.
So on the show today, we’ll be eatin' and askin'.

Making Movies/the 2nd Inning
Today on the show we have 2 tales. The first is entitled making movies. Psychotherapy is a long feature film complete with good guys, bad guys, and good plot elements. We’ll discuss how to make these films Oscar worthy. The 2nd is entitled the 2nd inning. As the baseball season heads to the playoffs we need a primer on what happens after the 1st inning. We also need to see how that relates to change.

Tales from the office
There are 2 tales. The first is entitled "I never thought I'd be sitting here". Some interesting observations of new people starting the change process. The second entitled "the chocolate brown bonnett" is a story about my favorite desert as a kid.
